This Privacy Policy explains how TPD OnTheGo handles data and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Google Play's Data Safety policies.

1. About the App

TPD OnTheGo is a utility designed exclusively for registered users of the Nuiterra TT&T SaaS platform. It supports physical operations such as scanning Unique Identifiers (UIs) and managing aggregation workflows as required by the EU tobacco tracking system.

2. Data Controller

QNS GP is the data controller for the TPD OnTheGo application. The app itself does not collect, store, or process any personal data from users. Access and use are restricted to registered Nuiterra TT&T platform users.

3. Data Collection

We do not collect user information such as names, emails, or location data through the TPD OnTheGo app.

• The app requires a pre-existing account with Nuiterra TT&T.
• Binding the app to your account is done via pre-assigned, per device, ID and Token authentication.
• App activation/deactivation and functional permitions are controlled within the Nuiterra TT&T account console.
• The app is non-functional without an existing user subscription.

4. Device Permissions

The app requests permission to access the device’s camera solely for scanning barcodes and QR codes used in tobacco product traceability.

• No images or video are recorded or saved.
• Camera use remains local and is never shared.

5. Internet Usage and Security

The app requires an active internet connection to function.

• All data exchanges are secured using HTTPS encryption.
• No traceability or personal data is stored locally on the device beyond temporary session operations.

6. Data Retention

The TPD OnTheGo app does not store any user data persistently. Any operational data (e.g. scanned UIs) is transmitted securely to the Nuiterra TT&T service and not retained locally after the session ends.

7. GDPR User Rights

Under GDPR, users have rights to access, correct, or delete their personal data, as well as the right to object to or restrict processing. Since the TPD OnTheGo app does not process any personal data, these rights are not applicable to its usage. If you have any concerns, you may still contact us (see section 9).

8. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for or directed to individuals under the age of 16. It is strictly for professional use by entities involved in tobacco logistics and compliance.
